Golden Mustard Barbecue Sauce

  1. Mix the ingredients in a saucepan with 1/3 cup water and bring to a simmer.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and cook until the onions are tender and the mixture thickens, 20 to 25 minutes.
  3. Use the sauce warm or chilled.
  4. It keeps, refrigerated, for a couple of weeks.
