Bird Nests Recipe
- 2 lrg Shredded wheat biscuits, crumbled
- 1/4 c. Coconut, shredded
- 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Butter, melted
- In mixing bowl crumble shredded wheat with your fingers.
- Using a spoon stir in the coconut and brown sugar.
- Pour in the melted butter.
- Stir together.
- Line muffin tin c. with foil.
- Press the mix onto the bottoms and up the sides of foil lined c.. Bake at 350.
- Carefully peel the foil off the nests.
- Fill the nests with fruity bird Large eggs: red or possibly green grapes, blueberries, strawberries, melon balls or possibly liquid removed canned fruit.
- This is great at Easter with the little candy Easter Large eggs.
- We like it at Christmas with red or possibly green cherries and a spoonful of yogurt on top.
