Grilled Cauliflower Steaks
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 1/4 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 large zip loc bag
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil, for using on grill surface.
- Wash and dry cauliflower in whole state.
- Remove leaves.
- Cut cauliflower into 1/4" thick slices vertically.
- Do not remove core.
- In a gallon sized zip loc bag place sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and garlic.
- Place cut cauliflower into bag being careful not to break it up.
- Let marinate on one side 15 minutes, flip and marinate other side for 15 more.
- Brush an indoor or outdoor grill with vegetable oil.
- Over a medium high heat place cauliflower steaks on grilling surface.
- Grill for 4 minutes per side.
- I like the cauliflower to still have a crunch, raw texture.
