Twice Laid

  1. Divide the remains of codfish or cold salt fish into flakes.
  2. Mix in twice as much mashed potatoes.
  3. Add a little milk.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and make into balls.
  5. Dip into the egg, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in fat until brown.
