Banana Cake-Pie
- 1 c. flour
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- about 1/2 box vanilla wafers, crushed
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. frozen whipped topping
- 2 or 3 bananas, sliced
- 1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding (prepare as directed on box)
- additional whipped topping
- Combine flour and melted margarine.
- Press into 9 x 13-inch dish or pan and bake at 375u0b0 for 15 minutes.
- Cool completely. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup whipped topping. Spread over pastry in pan.
- Add a layer of 2 or 3 bananas, sliced. Top with prepared instant pudding.
- Sprinkle on the 1/2 box of crushed vanilla wafers.
- Top with whipped topping.
- Chill.
