Honey Butter Rolls
- 2 envelope dry active yeast
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon warm water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 1/2 cup flour
- 1 honey
- 1 butter
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Mix yeast, warm water, oil, and sugar.
- Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
- After mixture has rested, add half of the flour, egg, and salt.
- Then combine thoroughly using hands or dough hook.
- Continue to add in the rest of the flour 1/2 cup at a time until completely combined.
- Cover the bottom of any shaped baking pan with melted butter liberally.
- Roll into balls and place into the pan.
- Make sure they are packed in and touching.
- Let rest for 15 minutes.
- Drizzle with honey and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Then drizzle with a little more honey and melted butter...enjoy!
