Sweet & Sour Pork.
- 200 grams Pork Loin
- 1/2 Pineapple
- 1/2 Onion
- 1/2 each Red & Green Capsicum
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 Tapioca starch
- 2 tsp Salt
- pinch Pepper
- 2 tbsp White Venigar
- 5 tbsp Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup Water
- 1 Cooking Oil for Deep Fried & Stir Fried
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
- Cut the pineapple into half.
- Discard the centre of the pineapple.
- Cut the contents of the pineapple & keep the juice to be use later.
- Cut the onion & capsicum into pieces.
- Cut the pork into cubes.
- Whisk the egg.
- Marinate the pork with 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, a pinch pepper & pour half of the egg.
- Prepare the souce with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 2 tablespoon of white vinegar, 5 tablespoon of tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon light soy sauce & 1 cup of water.
- Cover the pork with tapioca starch & deep fried until light golden brown.
- Heat up 2 tablespoon of cooking oil.
- Fried the onion & add capsicum and pineapple cube.
- Pour in the sauce and bring it to boil.
- Add in the pork, cook & simmer until the sauce is thickening.
- Use the pineapple skin to display the dish.
