Country Sausage Gravy
- 6 sausage patties
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- salt and pepper
- In a skillet fry all the sausage patties over medium heat until cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Stir the flour into the sausage drippings.
- Slowly add the milk and salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir constantly and more milk if necessary.
- Crumble the cooked sausage into the gravy mixture.
- Continue stirring until the gravy is rich and creamy.
- Serve over toast or biscuits.
