Watermelon Angel Cakes

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Prepare cake batter as directed on package, stirring dry gelatin mix into cake mix before beating with water.
  3. Gently stir in 1/3 cup chocolate chips; spoon into 36 paper-lined muffin cups.
  4. Bake 12 to 14 min.
  5. or until edges are golden brown.
  6. Cool in pan 10 min.
  7. ; remove to wire racks.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. Mix COOL WHIP and food coloring; spread onto cupcakes.
  10. Sprinkle with remaining chips.
