Easily Made in the Microwave!! Kabocha Squash Salad
- 1 net 250 grams Kabocha squash (peeled or unpeeled, to taste)
- 60 grams Mayonnaise
- 2 thin sausages Fish sausages (or bacon, wieners, etc)
- 3 Cheese squares
- 40 grams Steamed kuromame (or edamame)
- Cut the kabocha into bite-sized chunks, place in a heatproof dish, add a little water, and microwave at 1000 W for 5 minutes.
- Adjust the time according to your microwave.
- While waiting for it to cook in the microwave, cut the sausages and cheese into chunks the size of your beans.
- When the kabocha is easily pierced with a skewer, drain the water and mash while still hot.
- Mix with the mayonnaise, then mix in the other ingredients.
- It's done!
