Frosted Pumpkin Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine sugar, 3/4 cup butter, pumpkin and eggs in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  5. Pour into 15x10x1-inch ungreased baking pan.
  6. Bake 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely.
  8. Combine all frosting ingredients except milk in bowl.
  9. Beat at medium speed, gradually adding enough milk for desired spreading consistency.
  10. Frost cooled bars.
  11. Sprinkle with pecans.
  12. Cut into bars.
