Bread Dunking Cajun Garlic Shrimp Soup Recipe
- 2 dozen shrimp
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/4 pound and 5 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon Worcesterhsire
- 1/2 c. shrimp stock (beef bouillon, carrots, celery, 3 shrimp, simmered)
- 1/4 c. beer, room temperature
- Rinse shrimp in cool water; drain.
- Combine stick of butter, Worcestershire, garlic, and seasonings in skillet.
- When butter is melted, add in shrimp.
- Cook 2 min, shake pan instead of stirring.
- (Don't over cook.)
- Add in 5 Tbsp.
- of butter and stock.
- Cook for 2 min, shake pan.
- Add in beer, cook 1 minute.
- Serve in bowl with lots of French bread for dunking.
