Coca-Cola Chicken Wings
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cooking Wine
- 4 slices Ginger
- 10 whole Chicken Wings (mid Joint Would Be The Best)
- 2 Tablespoons Cooking Oil
- 8 ounces, fluid Regular Coca-Cola
- 1 teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Chopped Scallions
- In a bowl, combine salt, cooking wine and ginger slices and marinate the chicken wings for about 10 minutes.
- Since the taste of the final dish is sweet, we do not need to add too much salt.
- Heat cooking oil in pan until hot.
- Add the chicken wings and saute for 3 to 4 minutes, until the skin turns golden brown.
- Turn the wings over and saute until the other side is golden brown as well.
- Pour Coca-Cola in the pan and reduce heat so the wings absorb the taste of the cola.
- Continually stir for 8 to 10 minutes, then increase the heat to high to cook off the liquid.
- Add dark soy sauce to darken the color, and continue to stir while cooking.
- When wings are nicely glazed and sauce is thick, remove from heat.
- Sprinkle some chopped scallions on top and serve hot.
