Cheesy French Toast
- 4 slices raisin bread
- 4 Kraft Singles Cheese Slices
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. non-hydrogenated margarine
- 2 tsp. maple syrup
- Fill bread slices with Kraft Singles to make 2 sandwiches; lightly press edges of sandwiches together to seal.
- Whisk egg, milk and vanilla in pie plate until blended.
- Dip sandwiches, 1 at a time, in egg mixture, turning to evenly moisten both sides of each sandwich.
- Melt margarine in large skillet on medium heat.
- Add sandwiches; cook 2-1/2 to 3 min.
- on each side or until Singles are melted and sandwiches are golden brown on both sides.
- Serve topped with syrup.
