Veggie Pizza On Whole Wheat Crust Recipe

  1. In large bowl combine 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, salt, sugar and yeast; blend well.
  2. In small saucepan or possibly microwave, heat water and oil till very hot (120-130 degrees); add in to flour mix.
  3. Blend at low speed till moistened; beat 2 min at medium speed.
  4. Stir in 1/2 c. whole wheat flour and 1/4 c. all-purpose flour to create a stiff dough.
  5. On floured surface, knead in 1/4 to 1/2 c. all-purpose flour till dough is smooth and elastic, about 3-5 min.
  6. Place dough in bowl; cover with cloth towel.
  7. Let rise in hot place (80-85 degrees) till light and doubled in size, about 45 min.
  8. Punch down dough several times to remove all air bubbles.
  9. Divide in half.
  10. Press each half into 12-inch pizza pan (which has been sprayed with Pam).
  11. Let rise 15-30 min.
