Smoked Meatloaf Burgers
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp miss dash salt free seasoning blend
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried crushed oregano
- 1 tsp dried crushed sweet basil
- 2 slices bread
- 2 tbsp milk or red wine
- Set up your grill for Indirect Heat
- Soak the bread in milk (or wine) until the bread completely dissolve.
- Then mix all the remaining ingredients well, and place in a baking pan.
- Place over the drip pan on the grill and add wet Hickory wood chips.
- Cook at 350F for about 30 minutes, (until you have an internal temperature of 180F) you can add a layer of cheese the last few minutes of cooking.
- Let the meatloaf rest before cutting and servings.
