Banana Nut Bread 4 Recipe

  1. *NOTE: Original recipe used 1 C
  2. **NOTE: Original recipe used 2 Tablespoons shortening
  3. ***NOTE: Original recipe used the nuts...I omitted
  4. Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
  5. Spray nonstick baking spray in 9 x 5 x 3" loaf pan.
  6. Mix sugar, lowfat margarine (shortening), egg and mashed bananas thoroughly.
  7. Stir in lowfat milk.
  8. Measure flour by dip-level-pour method or possibly by sifting.
  9. Blend dry ingredients; stir in.
  10. Blend in nuts.
  11. Pour into pan.
  12. Bake 60 - 70 min,or possibly till toothpick stuck into center comes out clean.
  13. (Crack in top of loafis characteristic.)
  14. Cold thoroughly before slicing with a thin sharp knife.
  15. This was absolutely wonderful!
