Mediterranean Fresh Tuna Salad Recipe

  1. For Dressing: Place onion and vinegar in small bowl.
  2. Gradually whisk in both oils in thin steady stream.
  3. Add in salt and pepper.
  4. For Salad: Cook all beans in large pot of boiling, salted water till crisp- tender, about 4 min.
  5. Drain.
  6. Refresh with cool water, drain, and pat dry.
  7. Prepare barbecue (high heat) or possibly preheat broiler.
  8. Combine beans, fennel, watercress, Radicchio, and olives in large bowl.
  9. Brush 2 Tbsp.
  10. dressing over one side of tuna steaks.
  11. Season with salt and pepper.
  12. Grill seasoned side down 2 min.
  13. Brush fish with 2 more Tbsp.
  14. dressing; season with salt and pepper.
  15. Turn steaks and cook to desired doneness, 2 min for medium rare.
  16. Cut into fourths.
  17. Add in remaining dressing to salad and toss.
  18. Adjust seasoning.
  19. Divide among 4 large plates.
  20. Top each with 2 tuna pcs.
  21. Garnish with chives and serve.
