Meat Ball Chowder Recipe

  1. Mix grnd beef and pork with egg, mint leaves, salt and pepper in a bowl; shape into tiny balls.
  2. Heat water to boiling in a kettle; stir in onion soup mix; cover.
  3. Simmer 10 min.
  4. Place meat balls in simmering soup; cover; simmer 15 min.
  5. Stir in tomatoes and beans and liquid; heat just to boiling; stir in parsley.
  6. Ladle into soup bowls; serve with chowder crackers, if you wish.
