Naughty French Onion Flavoured Couscous

  1. Note: all ingredients are for a single serve.
  2. Very simple to make a bigger batch though :-)
  3. In a heat proof bowl add the dried onions, thyme, couscous and oil.
  4. Make sure it is all flat and level.
  5. No need to mix ingredients.
  6. Gently pour in the boiling water and then the soy sauce.
  7. Carefully jiggle the bowl so that the liquid is evenly distributed.
  8. Again, don't mix it.
  9. Place a saucer or layer of tin foil over the top to keep the heat in.
  10. Set aside for 5-7mins so it can absorb all the liquid.
  11. Remove the cover and fluff up with a fork to serve.
  12. Can be easily reheated in the microwave if making ahead of time and is fantastic the next day.
  13. Just add a touch of water if it seems dry before reheating.
