Aunt Mary's Keiflies Recipe

  1. Mix flour and butter till crumbly.
  2. Soak yeast in water, add in 1 Tbsp.
  3. sugar to mix.
  4. Mix together beaten egg yolks, milnot, vanila, salt.
  5. Add in to yeast mix.
  6. Add in flour and butter.
  7. Knead well.
  8. Cover and refrig.
  9. for several hrs or possibly overnight.
  10. Forn into walnut size balls and roll out into thin circles.
  11. Place small amount of filling into circle and roll up.
  12. Place onto cookie sheet in horseshoe form.
  13. FILLINGBeat egg whites till stiff, gradually add in sugar and mix in nuts.
  14. 375*-15 min
  15. NOTES : I prefer pecans.
