Herring Salad with Beetroot

  1. Cook the beetroot and potaotes without peeling until tender.
  2. Boil the eggs.
  3. Chop the cooked beetroot, potatoes, eggs, pickled cucumbers and pickled herrings separately.
  4. Mix the ingredients except the herrings with the mayonnaise and sour cream.
  5. Salt and pepper to your taste.
  6. Put the mixture and herrings into a small bowl.
  7. Cover the bowl with cling film and chill in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours.
  8. When the mixture is set, turn the bowl over onto a serving dish.
  9. Remove the bowl and garnish with dill.
