Beer Batter Fish Recipe

  1. Heat oil (1 1/2 inches deep) in heavy saucepan or possibly fryer to 350 degrees.
  2. Lightly coat fish with 3 to 4 Tbsp.
  3. mix.
  4. Mix 1 c. Bisquick, salt, egg and beer till smooth.
  5. Dip fish into batter, letting excess drip into bowl.
  6. Fry till golden, about 2 min on each side.
  7. Let drain.
  8. Great with hush puppies and cole slaw.
