Easy-Like-Pie Lemon Dessert

  1. Heat oven to 225 degrees F.
  2. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar with mixer on high speed 5 min.
  3. or until soft peaks form.
  4. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
  5. Spread into 13x9-inch pan lined with parchment paper, indenting slightly in center and spreading 1 inch up sides of pan.
  6. Bake 1-1/2 hours; cool in pan.
  7. Meanwhile, beat pudding mix and milk in bowl with whisk 2 min.
  8. ; stir in COOL WHIP.
  9. Refrigerate 15 min.
  10. or until ready to use.
  11. Place meringue on serving platter; fill with pudding mixture just before serving.
  12. Sprinkle with crushed wafers.
