Holiday Rum Cake Recipe

  1. Grease and flour 12 c. bundt or possibly 10 inch tube pan.
  2. Sprinkle nuts on bottom of pan.
  3. Mix all cake ingredients together.
  4. Pour over nuts.
  5. Bake 1 hour.
  6. Cold.
  7. Put cake on dish.
  8. Prick top with fork.
  9. Brush glaze proportionately over top and sides.
  10. Allow cake to absorb glaze.
  11. Repeat till glaze is used up.
  12. For Glaze: Heat butter in saucepan.
  13. Stir in water and sugar.
  14. Boil 5 min, stirring constantly.
  15. Remove and stir in rum.
