Vegetarian Buffalo Wings
- 8 ounces, weight Seitan
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder, Divided
- 1/2 cups Hot Sauce, Frank's Recommended
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 teaspoons Honey
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and lightly grease a rimmed cookie sheet.
- Drain seitan and toss with 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer seitan to baking sheet and bake 10 minutes.
- Stir, return to oven for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine hot sauce, butter, honey, remaining garlic and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small saucepan over low heat.
- When butter is melted, remove from heat.
- When seitan is cooked, add to the hot sauce.
- Mix, and stir to coat.
- Shake off excess hot sauce mix and return to baking sheet.
- Bake another 5 minutes, remove from oven and enjoy with your fave dip!
