Praline Cookies
- 1 (15 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons powdered instant coffee
- 23 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 13 cup water
- 14 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon imitation maple flavor
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 cup sifted flour
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir water and butter into mixture until butter is melted.
- Beat eggs, salt and flavorings together.
- Beat in coffee mixture gradually.
- Mix in flour and nuts until well blended.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased aluminum foil-lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Let cool on foil, then peel off.
