Green Pea And Ham Soup Recipe
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 1 pound frzn peas
- 2 tbsp. light cream
- Salt and pepper
- Healthy pinch of sugar
- 1/4 pound cooked ham
- Time: 15 min.
- Freezing suitable.
- Serves 4.
- Put the broth and the peas in a large bowl.
- Cover and cook on high for 10 min.
- Reserve 1/3 of the peas.
- Puree the remaining peas in a blender or possibly by passing through a sieve.
- Return the pureed peas and the reserved peas to a bowl.
- Stir in the cream, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Dice the ham and add in.
- Cook on high for 5 min, then serve warm.
