Chicken With Basil Sauce
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 cups homemade breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon, i use knorr
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3 fresh basil leaves
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Halve the chicken breasts to make 4 pieces.
- Dip chicken in beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place on cookie sheet, drizzle with melted butter.
- Cook in oven 20-25 minutes.
- In small saucepan over medium heat evaporated milk, chicken flavor, and flour.
- When mixture thickens add ripped up basil leaves.
- Cook for 1 minute then remove from heat.
- Serve basil sauce drizzled on chicken, or in dipping dishes.
