Dad's Marinade And Basting Sauce Recipe

  1. Mix ingredients together well, then refrigeratefor several hrs to blend flavors, before using.
  2. Let meat stand overnight in mix.
  3. Fifteen min before removing brush half with a basting sauce of 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 Tbsp.
  4. flour, 1/4 tsp.
  5. dry mustard, 1/8 tsp.
  6. cloves and 1 Tbsp.
  7. water.
  8. Bake (if broiling use less time) 10 min, then brush with rest of the basting sauce.
  9. Finish cooking.
