Philly Croque Monsieur
- 12 slices white bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 80g shaved ham
- 80g Gouda or Gruyere cheese, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons seeded mustard
- 80g block PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons snipped chives
- Spread bread both sides with butter.
- Trim crusts and cut each slice into quarters.
- Top 24 bread squares with ham and Gouda cheese to cover.
- Spread remaining bread pieces with 1/2 tsp mustard and place mustard side down over Gouda.
- Place sandwiches in a single layer on an oven tray and grill under a hot grill for 2 minutes each side or until lightly golden.
- Spread Philly* on top of each sandwich and grill a further 2 minutes or until softened.
- Serve topped with chives.
