My Favorite Quiche
- 1 unbaked, 9 inch pie crust (frozen
- mix)
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup grated Cheddar, Monterey Jack cheese,
- Swiss (choose one that goes with the meat)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 cup cooked diced turkey, ham, chicken
- crab (choose one)
- 1 cup diced mushrooms,
- slightly steamed broccoli
- asaragus (choose one that goes with the meat)
- Paprika, grated, for garnish
- Bake pie shell at 375F for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together eggs, milk, salt and pepper with a whisk.
- In baked pie shell, layer meat, vegetable, cheese then pour eggs mixture into pie shell over ingredients.
- Sprinkle paprika over top.
- Return to oven and bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted at center comes out clean.
- If edge of crust is browning too fast, make 9 inch circle of foil, cut out center and place on rim of crust.
