Microwaved Steamed Carrot Bread
- 70 grams Pancake mix
- 25 grams Carrot (grated)
- 1/2 Egg
- 5 grams Butter
- 1 bit more than 2 tablespoons Milk
- Add the ingredients to the silicone steamer.
- Microwave uncovered for 50 seconds at 600 W to melt the butter.
- Add the remaining ingredients to Step 1.
- Use a spatula to mix and smooth out the surface.
- Close the lid and microwave at 600 W for 1.5 - 2 minutes.
- Once an inserted skewer comes out clean, it'd done.
- Let sit as is for 2 minutes.
- It's fluffy and finished!
- I used a 15 cm diameter silicone steamer.
- To remove from the steamer, insert a skewer between the cake and steamer and move it around the edges.
- Use a spatula to remove from the bottom gently.
- If you won't be eating it right away, wrap it with plastic wrap while still warm and let sit to keep it fluffy.
- This is perfect for little kids who can hold their own food Adults can enjoy it too !
- This amount is perfect for 3-4 people.
