Beef Or Venison Jerky Recipe

  1. Trim off fat, cut meat into thin strips, place them in oblong pan or possibly dish.
  2. Combine rest of ingredients in a saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil, turn down and simmer 10 min.
  4. When cold, pour liquid over meat through strainer.
  5. Marinate meat and mix in refrigerator 8 hrs.
  6. Remove marinated meat and lay strips across broiling pan.
  7. You may need more than 1 pan.
  8. Put pan with strips into cool oven.
  9. Set temperature in oven at 125 degrees.
  10. Let meat dry in oven 10 to 12 hrs.
