Stuffed French Bread

  1. Cut bread in half; cut off ends.
  2. With fork, hollow out center of bread, leaving a thick crust as shell; reserve 1 1/2 cups crumbs.
  3. In skillet, combine beef, onion, oregano, salt and pepper; brown.
  4. Remove from heat; add crumbs, mustard, parsley, egg and cheese.
  5. Blend thoroughly.
  6. Fill loaf with mixture.
  7. Replace cut ends and secure with wooden picks.
  8. Brush with melted butter; warp in foil and bake at 400u0b0 for 10 minutes.
  9. Loosen foil and continue to bake 5 to 10 minutes longer.
  10. Slice stuffed bread loaf and serve with cheese sauce.
