Slow Cooker Ginger Habanero Chicken - Spicy Spanish Dish
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon candied ginger
- 2 habanero chili peppers, tops removed, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- olive oil flavored cooking spray
- 3 lbs chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
- jasmine rice
- 3 lbs chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
- combine; onions and ginger in food processor.
- add all other ingredients EXCEPT chicken to food processor; blend.
- coat slow cooker with olive oil cooking spray. place chicken in slow cooker; coat with sauce. cover; cook on low 6-8 hours serve over Jasmine rice.
