Rumaki

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  2. Cut the bacon slices in half down the center.
  3. Roll up each water chestnut in a 1/2 slice of bacon.
  4. Secure with a toothpick.
  5. Brush with hoisin sauce.
  6. Place in a baking dish or parchment lined, rimmed baking sheet.
  7. Cook for 35 minutes total, or until bacon fat has rendered.
  8. Flip the rumaki half way through cooking.
  9. Serve immediately.
