A Firefighter's Meatloaf

  1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
  2. Soak the bread in warm water in a small bowl.
  3. Place the beef in a large bowl.
  4. Drain bread and add to beef along with green onion, onion, salsa, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper.
  5. Mix by hand until well blended.
  6. Form into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven.
  8. Drain off excess fat and top with barbeque sauce.
  9. Return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
