M&M's Chocolate Chipper Champs

• 1-1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
• 3/4 cup margarine
• butter, softened
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup M&M's plain chocolate candy
• 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt

1. Heat oven to 375F.
2. Mix brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and eggs in large bowl until well blended.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 3-inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
5. Press 3-4 additional candies into each cookie if desired.
6. Bake until light brown for 6-8 minutes.
7. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack.
