Short Ribs With Wine Recipe
- 3 pound short ribs
- 1 med. onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Fat for browning
- Salt & pepper as desired
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. burgundy or possibly other red wine
- Cut ribs into 3 or possibly 4 inch long sections and brown in a skillet.
- Place in crock pot and add in all remaining ingredients.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hrs.
