Swordfish With Kiwi Salsa
- 1 kiwi fruit, peeled and diced
- 1 small yellow bell pepper, diced
- 12 small red onion, diced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon lime zest, grated
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 14 teaspoon sea salt
- 13 cup cilantro, chopped
- 12 teaspoon ground cumin
- 14 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 4 swordfish steaks
- In a large bowl, toss together kiwi, bell pepper, onion, jalapeno, lime zest and juice, salt and cilantro.
- Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together cumin and black pepper.
- Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heating element and preheat the broiler.
- Brush oil on both sides of swordfish steaks and sprinkle each side with the cumin mixture.
- Place fish on a rimmed baking sheet and broil for 5 minutes.
- Turn and broil until opaque in the center, another 4 to 5 minutes.
- Place swordfish steaks on 4 plates and top each with kiwi salsa.
