Strawberry Fudge Pie

  1. Heat oven to 375*.
  2. On medium speed, beat butter until creamy.
  3. Gradually add sugar, beating well.
  4. Add eggs 1 at a time until each is mixed in well.
  5. Stir in melted chocolate, then flour and nuts.
  6. Pour into pie shell and bake for 45 minutes; cool on wire rack.
  7. When completely cooled, spread pie filling on top.
  8. Dollop with whip cream if desired.
  9. Chill to store.
  10. If chilled, wait 30 minutes before slicing.
  11. Refrigerate any leftovers.
