Aloo Halwa

  1. Peel and grate potatoes.
  2. Boil in milk till tender and thick.
  3. Mash well.
  4. Add sugar cook on a slow fire.
  5. Add ghee, cashewnuts, cardamom and saffron, blend well.
  6. When it begins to leave the pan remove from fire.
  7. Transfer it to a greased tray.
