Pickled Eggs Recipe
- 6 hard-cooked Large eggs
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1 c. beet liquid
- 1/3 c. white or possibly brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 sm. onion, minced about 1/4 c.
- 4 whole cloves
- Place peeled Large eggs in bowl or possibly jar.
- Mix vinegar, beet liquid, salt, sugar, onion and cloves.
- Pour over Large eggs.
- Cover and chill at least 2 days.
- SPICED PICKLED Large eggs: Substitute 2 c. white vinegar in place of cider vinegar and beet juice.
