Sour Cream Posy Rolls

  1. In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, granulated sugar, undissolved yeast and salt.
  2. Heat sour cream, water and butter until very warm (120u0b0 to 130u0b0).
  3. Stir into dry ingredients.
  4. Mix 1 egg and enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
  5. Knead on floured surface until smooth (about 4 minutes).
  6. Divide into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Roll into smooth ball.
  8. Place on greased baking sheet; cover.
  9. Place large shallow pan on counter, half-fill with boiling water.
  10. Place back in sheet over pan.
  11. Let rise 20 minutes.
  12. With scissors, make 6 (3/4-inch) deep around outside of each roll.
  13. Beat remaining egg and brush on rolls.
  14. Sprinkle with sesame seed.
  15. Bake at 400u0b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until done. Remove from sheet; cool on wire rack.
  16. Makes 1 dozen rolls.
