Flora's pop can burgers

  1. Begin by placing your meat in a bowl.
  2. Then add the whorchestire sauce and salt and pepper.
  3. (I used a hickory smoked salt and a little bit of Chicago steak seasoning too).
  4. After it is mixed form the meat into two similar size balls.
  5. Using a can of pop, beer, heck even a can of corn would work, punch the can through the center of the burger and then form the patty around the can
  6. Wrap bacon around the patty then slowly pull the can out.
  7. You will be left with a hole, in this hole you can stuff anything you desire inside.
  8. I stuffed mine with peppers and onions and my husbands with jalepenos and bacon
  9. Bake at 350 for about an hour, when the burgers are done and the bacon has cooked, top with shredded cheese.
  10. (You can also do this on the grill, covered over indirect heat)
  11. Serve up with your favorite toppings!
  12. This is good over mashed potatoes or just on a bun with your favorite side.

ground beef, bacon, worchestershire sauce, salt, sautased onions, sautased bell peppers, jalepenos, bacon, mushrooms, cheese
