Thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Using a mixer or spoon, mix together thoroughly butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Once combined, thoroughly mix in eggs and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix completely.
- Fold in semi sweet chocolate chips.
- Drop mounds the size of 1/4 cup (don't pack mixture when measuring) onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 9 -11 mins.
- Cool 2-3 mins before removing from cookie sheet.
- These are great warm or room temp.
