Italian Dip
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 12 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3 drops hot sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 34 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) canpetite diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil, drained
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped green peppers
- 2 tablespoons thinly slice green onions
- breadsticks or tortilla chips
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, cayenne pepper and hot sauce.
- Spread in an ungreased, 9in microwave-safe pie plate.
- Combine cheese and sprinkle half over the cream cheese.
- Combine diced tomatoes and toaato sauce in a bowl.
- Top the cheese with tomato mixture, green pepper and green onion; top with remaining cheese.
- Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is almost melted, rotating a half turn several times.
- Let stand 1-2 minutes.
- Serve with breadsticks or tortilla chips.
