White Pizza Recipe
- 2 pizza shells
- 2 tbsp. dry basil
- 2 teaspoon dry oregano
- 1 tbsp. dry parsley
- 1/8 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Louisiana warm sauce
- 1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grnd pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pound shredded Mozzarella
- 1/2 pound shredded sharp Provolone cheese
- Mix ingredients, except Mozzarella, Provolone and pizza shells, together to make a sauce.
- In a separate container, mix the Mozzarella and Provolone together.
- Smear half the sauce over each pizza shell; cover each with half the cheese mix.
- Bake on top oven rack at 450 degrees for 5 min.
- Yield: two (16 inch) pizzas.
