Squid Tonpei Yaki - Pan-fried Squid Fritters

  1. Cut the squid into bite size pieces and sprinkle salt and pepper.
  2. Put in a plastic bag and coat with katakuriko.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan.
  4. Add the squid and fry until crispy.
  5. When it is cooked through, add eggs and green onions.
  6. Stir gently.
  7. It tastes better if the egg is a little runny.
  8. Transfer to a serving plate and squirt Okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise in a crisscross pattern.
  9. That's all there is to it.
